Chelsea has been doing hair in Boulder for 10 years. She has mastered blonding and balayage techniques, keeping in mind the importance of adding depth and dimension to the hair. “I love being creative, focusing on what the client wants to accomplish. I stay up to date with current trends and continue education in color and cuts.” Chelsea enjoys learning new techniques and styles and cares about you feeling happy and satisfied when leaving ASHRA. Chelsea loves to be outside with her 10-year-old American bulldog, Titan. Her healthy lifestyle includes working out at the gym, cooking, and spending time with friends.
Founder of ASHRA Salon & Med Spa, and is the passion and drive behind the salon. Detailed, precise, exceptionally talented, Heather strikes the perfect balance between creativity, structure, and style. Her warm, intuitive approach keeps her strong and loyal clientele coming back, as each client’s hair is a work of art. She believes people are most beautiful when they are present “feeling peaceful about one’s appearance and expression contributes to inner peace.” Outside of the salon, Heather enjoys travel, playing her piano, painting, gardening, and her meditation practice.

Pamela is a Registered Nurse and Esthetician, who is passionate about combining both of her skill sets to provide exceptional skin care services for our clients. Her six years of surgical nursing combined with seven years in a spa give her the perfect combination of experience, detail, and precise technique. She takes time to communicate clearly and to set realistic expectations. She continues her skin care education through Allergan to provide beautiful Botox and filler services. Pamela also operates our lasers and participates in continuing education with CynoSure. When she is not working, Pamela enjoys spending time with her husband, baby boy, family, and friends. Being in nature is her happy place and she enjoys being active, including running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and scuba diving.
Creative Director of ASHRA, Ashley has been doing hair for 10 years. Known as the “Extension Queen,” she’s both talented and fast. Ashley’s substantial expertise includes Keratin treatments (no scary chemicals, either) that provide beautiful blowouts. We love Ashley’s cheerful, upbeat, positive, and complimentary style. She makes everyone in her chair feel beautiful and important. Outside the salon, she’s committed to her family, often cheering her kids on from the sidelines in their multiple, year-round sports events.
Marguerite is in high demand. She takes pride in taking the time to communicate clearly, understand expectations, and provide the tools and techniques needed to achieve the best look and compliment her client’s lifestyle. She’s passionate about continuing education, keeping up with the latest in technique and style. She has worked with Swartzkoff, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, Redken, Aveda, Wella, and now Davines. She provides a joyful, relaxing salon experience, making each client feel special and beautiful. “I love my job! I’m at my best when I’m making others feel good about themselves.” She also loves color, creating soft, natural hues to bold and bright, as well as partnering with clients to help assist phasing out of color to natural gray or gray blending. Outside of the salon, Marguerite is committed to spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys traveling, catching a show at Red Rocks, and using her green thumb to experiment in her gardens.
Ali is an old soul with a wonderful laugh, and so much fun to be around. She has that admirable combination of youth and experience. Courageous behind the chair, she takes risks and has the talent and skill to back them up. She’s the salon’s best fashion colorist, phenomenal with candy colors and we fawn over her balayage work. A true professional, she enjoys a clientele ranging from the white collar business person seeking a conventional cut with gray coverage, to the client who really wants to stand out with a rainbow of colors cascading through her locks. “I love doing highlights, balayage, and brows! I might send a client out the door with a bright red Mohawk, and my next client with a gorgeous layered cut with a sun-kissed balayage.”
Creative, versatile, and passionate about her craft, Amanda Corte has been a stylist for 17 years. Amanda is patient and cares about clear communication, giving you the look you want. Her education is vast and recent: she has accomplished her M.O.B certification with Masters of Balayage; the training she did in the beginning of her career with Martin Parson “The Updo Guru” has helped her to create glamorous bridal and special occasion hair. Amanda is laid back, professional and kind. She moved to Boulder in 2007, and is mom to three young children. On her days off you can find her snowboarding or at the park with her kids.
Tara is available for all your hair, massage, and skin care needs! Tara trained with Aveda and specializes in low maintenance/lived in colors/cuts and blonding. Tara attended East-West healing arts institute in Madison, Wisconsin for her massage therapy training and licensure. She has clinical and spa experience making sure to meet your body where you are at. She specializes in taking care of your whole being with modalities like TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) acupressure, fire-cupping, cranial sacral, chakra balancing, reiki, reflexology, and myofascial release. Tara also offers relaxing facials customized to your specific skin care needs. “It brings incredible joy to reveal the beauty that resides in every human from the inside out.” When Tara’s not creating, she enjoys nature: hiking, trail running, skiing, horseback riding, yoga, meditation and spending time with her husband, their black lab Kali, and tuxedo cat Enzyme.
Growing up in the PNW and around the salon industry and always having a passion for visual arts is what inspired Hannah to choose hair styling as the perfect creative outlet. During your service, she puts her focus on thorough consultations, hair maintenance goals, and delivering desired results. Hannah is passionate about continuing hair education, keeping up with current industry trends, and also values and encourages the use of natural and environmentally sustainable hair products. She has worked as a hairstylist since 2011 and enjoys working with a variety of hair types from curly hair to medium or long layered hair, as well as short textured cuts. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, painting, and traveling. She also has a strong interest in nutrition, essential oils, and living a healthy lifestyle.
